I just found out that I was accepted into Antioch University's Green MBA program!
The purpose of the MBA in Organizational and Environmental Sustainability (Green MBA) is quite simple. Business as usual is not sustainable. The research is compelling. Most stories are sobering while some hold promise. The explosion of world population, the exponential economic growth in developing countries, and the relentless gorging of resources by developed nations presents us with a very stark reality—business as usual is not sustainable for our planet. While many government and business leaders continue unabated to promote the “more is better” economic rationale, many citizens of the world realize this trend must be reversed. (From the School Site) for more info go to http://www.antiochne.edu/ then academics, organization and management, Green MBA.
This program is one of only a few interdisciplinary Green MBAs in the world. You learn what you would expect in an MBA program, plus the unexpected— a curriculum that considers not only sustainable business practices, but also the natural environment, leadership, systems thinking, and collaboration.
