Hey Everyone, sorry for not posting in such a long time. This Saturday fellow co-workers and I jumped into Lake Champlain for the Penguin Plunge event. This is a yearly event to raise money for Special Olympics. Merchants Bank (the one I work for) is the largest sponsor of the event so we got to be the first "flock" to jump into the lake. This was my first year, but definately not the last! I am not sure how much the entire event raised, but our team, the ChillyLYNX, raised almost $5,000! The picture of all of us in the water was in the front page of one of the Vermont section in our local paper! I also shot a video from start to finish of the jump. I apologize in advance for its shakyness, since I was running and not really concentrating on holding the camera as much as on the upcoming freezing water.
