While in Florida I got to visit with my cat, Haze. Haze when to live with my dad a couple years back. He has been living the life with two stay at home owners, constant attention, and morning walks on the patio.
So I just got back from a five day vacation with Allie, Brooke, my dad, and Matthew. The trip started in Florida, then boarded the Semester at Sea Ship (not boat) for a four day voyage to Belize and back. We boarded Thursday afternoon, at sea Friday, Belize on Saturday, at sea Sunday, and disembarked Monday morning. While is Belize we took an excursion to a small island and got to go snorkeling and view the coral reef. Belize has the second largest coral reef in the world, 118 miles!
I'm fundraising for Special Olympics Vermont this year by jumping in Lake Champlain this Febuary as part of the annual Penguin Plunge. Please sponsor me online. So as 2008 appears, so does the single digit temperatures. Gully and I snowshoed around Indian Brook after we got 3 inches of fresh snow this morning. (Forecast predicted 10 inches) Today marked the first time in many years since I have last been snowshoeing. It was a great sunny day for it, even though it was a bit chilly.
