Im Back!
So here I am creating this post on Sunday morning(12:02am). Although technically I have not been in bed since Thursday evening. Friday I stayed up all night for an early flight on Saturday. Saturday, when you count the seven hour time change, was a very long day. So needless to say I think I will sleep very well in my very own bed!
With the help of my new external hard drive, I have successfully loaded all my pictures from my camera to my computer with 319 GB to spare. Now I just have to get them downloaded onto my blog. So you should see some tonight and some tomorrow.
My trip was great! I can't wait to back. Europe is so different than the states. My favorite place was Delphi, Greece. When I load the pictures you might see why. The entire town was built on this very steep mountain, with the best views!

And remember:
Life is like a roll of toilet paper The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes...so have fun, think "good thoughts" only, learn to laugh at yourself, and "Count your blessings"!!!!!!! Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like nobody's watching. - Unknown

"Vermont's Ticking Time Bomb:The Economic and Fiscal Implications of Demographc Change"
by Arthur WoolfEconomics, University of VermontThursday,
February 8, 2007, at 7:30 p.m.Memorial Lounge, Waterman BuildingUniversity of Vermont
The age structure of Vermont will change dramatically over the next twenty-five years. The state is aging much more rapidly than the nation, and over the next twenty-five years, the number of people over the age of 65 will double. Within the next five years, the number of people between the ages of21 and 64 will begin to decline, and that decline will continue for the next twenty years. The number of school-age children, which has been falling for the past decade, will continue to fall for the next ten years before stabilizing. These changes are unprecedented in the state's modem history.
As businesses and other employers encounter this increasing scarcity of workers and expanding numbers of senior citizens, they will face serious challenges. How will they adapt to this new environment? State and local governments will also face a new set of problems as they will find it increasingly difficult to meet demands for government services with a tax base that will grow much more slowly than in the past. This seminar will explore the demographic causes and fiscal impacts of these changes and suggest ways that the private and public sectors can meet these challenges.
Art Woolf is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Vermont, where he has taught since 1980. He was State Economist for Gov. Madeleine Kunin from 1988 to 1991. He researches and speaks on a variety of topics relating to Vermont's economy.
This was a synopsis of a seminar I really wish I attended. Economist Art Woolf brought into view alot of very good points about Vermonts Economy and its future.

a joke
The Humorless Dwarf
I rear ended a car this morning...
I knew it was going to be a REALLY bad day!
The driver got out of the other car, and he was a DWARF!!
He looked up at me and said "I am NOT Happy!"
So I said, "Well.... Which one ARE you then?"
That's how the fight started.
